How you know someone is old.  Ask them how long they've been contributing to their 401k.  If its more than 10 years, they are old.

10 years ago yes. Today, no. Who cares what's right or wrong or what's socially acceptable. It's all about what's right for you.

I agree. But keep in mind the dating pool drastically narrows down and choices become extremely limited.

It's not as limited as we think.  The only problem is that many of these people give up, stay home, and no one knows that they exist.  We need to have a yearly get together of all Hmong single, never been married, age 25+ conference...

For a Hmong woman it's cutting it close to being old, but here in America, I think 40 is old for a woman. 30 is barely cutting it but in a guy's perspective we still prefer the 21 year old girl.

Any time.  If a woman is to go outside Hmong, it's best with another Asian... the cultures and mindset are more similar.

Within the Hmong community, they would think a 30 year old Hmong woman is too old to be single but not within the American community.

I agree...a single 30 yr woman in the hmong community would be considereold.. .but not in the American culture.

Is this why we Asian get married so young?  :o or is it because the women can't keep their hands off us men  ;D

The marriage is less of a chance to work out/end up divorcing if the couple gets married at a young age from 15-21. I say for me age 22-28 should be wonderful at a dating level. Age of 28-35 people start to consider settling down.
