How soon do you claim someone as your BF/GF?

1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks? Or do you keep talking to him/her and never let them know until you've fallen in-love and gently let them know only to get your feelings crushed?

How long or how soon do you tell a girl/guy that you want to be in an exclusive relationship with eachother?...

There is no claiming, there is a mutual understanding.

Of course, when young, claiming is part of the animal power instinct within.  ;D

When people see you two together so much they'll start wondering if you both are a couple. People will start saying things like, hey is that your bf/gf or awww you two look sooo.. cute/happy together blah blah blah.. ;D

It's not that simple.  Of course we'll have to be dating for a while but the main thing is that he has to asks me to be his GF.  If not than everything is still fair game and if I go on dates with other people than he can't be mad.  ;D
