Is there a certain age you don't want to live past?
« on: January 04, 2012, 01:56:04 AM »
I don't want to live past 40.... if I'm still alone.  :-\ :'(

Feels like the world is coming to an end in 2012, but if it doesn't end, I don't know how long I want to live because the world doesn't have much to offer and I don't have anything I want to give that is worthwhile.

So 40 seems like a good age to die if not sooner.

Wow, I am sorry you feel that way. Life is beautiful, don't take it for granted. We all go through stages of life and some of us go through cycles of life. Keep your chin up.

We are never ever alone. I am sure you got families and friends. Don't be so gung ho on relationships. When it's meant to be it will find its way to you. There is that special someone out there for everyone.

Inner peace and true happiness is through meditating

When you are alone, be careful of your thoughts

When you are with friends, be careful of your speech.

I don't want to live past the age where I only suffer or cause others to suffer.  I do not want to be on life support.

There are so many people in this world who want to live...but can't live because they have cancer, a disease, etc...
And there are many people we wish to be alive right now. If only those that had wished to prolong their lives could trade places with those that don't see the value/worth in their own lives.......

I've seen enough of the world.

Willing to trade it for someone who cares.

Fair warning... don't say at all... things have a funny way of coming true.

When my best friend and I were young, we decided one day that we didn't want to get married too young, but we also did not want to be old maids, so we decided that we would get married at the age of 16.  She was three years older than me... and when she turned 16, she got married.  When I turned 16, I got married.  We didn't plan to get married then... it just happened... whatever you do, don't put a number down.

Sometimes I wish I could re-live my life over again and turn things around, things I've said, and things I'd do differently a second time around.

You are the only person that can change yourself.  Apologize sincerely, ask for forgiveness and move on.  When one door opens, another begin.

And if it is wrongs against a spouse and if you are still together, apologize sincerely, ask for forgiveness and show her that you HAVE truly changed.  Give her time to trust you again.  It will only serve to make your relationship more stronger... like a piece of metal that have been through the fire...

I've never been married before.... but if it pertains to other people then ok.

And no, I don't believe people change, just circumstances and priorities. People will always be who the are.

I don't want to live past the day I become dependent on others to live day by day.

Living is not worth it if your loved ones have abandoned you, your memories have abandoned you, your body has abandoned you, and you are left alone to rot with the time and disappear with the wind to nothingness and the infinity.  :'(

Not true.  I, myself, have changed.  I have seen people changed... but only those who see their wrong doing and change themselves...

There are some people who will never change b/c they see no flaw in themselves.

Yes people can change! It all about realizing your flaws and self improvement. If you haven't change in a positive manner in 10 years, you haven't made any progress in life.
