I don't know much about the culture but I've heard that as christian, you can't bring or take foods to your passed loved ones. Is that true or not? I've done it so many times.. but I was advised by our Pastor that we can not do this.
Does it say in the Bible that you cannot? Or are you listening to your pastor's OPINION?
The bible doesn't state so but I don't want to offend anyone as well.
Are you learning the Bible or learning from your pastor?
is there a god preventing you or is it just a human being personal opinion preventing you?
Just th pastor but you know what? I don't care... I love my father and so I will do whatever I feel it's right. I will give or bring him things because they are from me.
We don't do this. We don't believe in the "after-life" like how it is with Shaminism. After death, they are in heaven. There is no need to feed.
That's what I thought to and I've heard like two stories.. so I'm a bit confused. We are christian and I believe that we do not feed the dead. I wasn't planning to bring him food but just things to set it on his headstone.
