My personal experience with ghosts/spirits
« on: January 16, 2012, 12:35:45 AM »
My family owned the Hmong funeral in st.paul Minnesota.

My first experience with ghosts was when I went in to turn
The lights on the top floor. It was early 7am. After  turn on
The lights I waited in office and I heard footsteps running up
The stairs and my hair jumped it was like 3-4 people chasing
Each other!! Got really scared like I was thinking to myself
What if I see them so I sat for a bit and went back outside.

Some Hmong Lee guy and his uncle came early to chop meat
And the female spirit caress him from behind.  His family
Ua neeg and it's the same one that followed me home.
It's a white ghost she lonely and lost

since you guys owned the funeral, was there a room to store the dead? or did they just arrive fresh on the day of the funeral?

Funeral on dale  in st Paul...the first one in the us
It usually depends on how busy the mortician is
Ive seen all types of the faces of death. Some dead look like
They smiling, some look horrible!!  There's always dreams
That hint to me there's gonna be a funeral ahead of time
Usually the ancestors of the recently decease come in dreams
Or show up in my sleep to ask if they can use to fun home
I was spooked at first but got use to it..
There was a time I saw a grandma in Hmong clothes walking
Or should I say floating by disappeared within the few seconds
It heard me say hi..
We aren't suppose to see ghosts but they can see us..and they
Have the power to show themselves that's what I know.

The one on Dale is scary. I heard lots of stories over the year about that one and especially about the floating Gma.

is the floating Gma a regular at the funeral...mean ing she'll just show up whenever she feels like it whether there's a funeral or not? Do most people know about the floating Gma showing herself?

When's there no service going on  and were there fixing up
The place. I feel as there's always a couple ghosts looking at
or following me around...when I saw the granny it was 4 pm
In the summer just finish clean up n I was alone in office
Facing the hallway..grann y floated in the hall for seconds
I notice she looked at me from the Cornor  of her eyes
Didn't think of anything got up to go talk but she vanish.
I wonder we're all the spirits gone to now after the building
Demolished the shaman said there was 12 ghosts force to
Leave funeral home

Spooky ua luaj. I'm getting chills just reading these posts.

When my dad passed, we held his funeral service at Dale. I remember I never wanted to go to the ladies bathroom a lone...even though it was right by the entrance. That's what happen when you start hearing stories of what others experience. I forgot who told me but they said one night someone wanted to go pee so she took a cousin (or was it a friend) with her -- as company -- to use the bathroom. While the other person waited outside the door, she went to do her business. A few seconds into it, someone walks in and she thinks it's her cousin so she starts talking to her. The occupant didn't say anything so when she flushes the toilet and comes out to wash her hands...she says, "Ua cas koj twb los use bathroom es kuv hais lus rau koj es koj tsis teb kuv li na?" Her cousin answered, "What are you talking about? I've been waiting for you right here all this time." Ohyo! Eeeek! Hey, if I remember correctly, wasn't the men's bathroom at Dale downstairs too? CREEPY!

FXM, it's quite unusual that you'll have all those dreams before an actual funeral takes place at Dale. Have you ever asked your parents to ua neeb kho koj tus plig na?
