From the above list, who do you believe should be elected as our next President of the US and why? If it is someone not listed, please explain why that person should be elected President.

Obviously Obama is going to take this election. What should be interesting is who the Democrats are going to field in the next presidential election, and will that person be able to beat Mitt Romney if he runs again.

It should be an interesting race.  I actually thank Obama has lost some of the votes he had from 08.  Only time will tell.

True. The healthcare issue turned many voters off. But overall he is still going to do better than the GOP candidates.

He probably lost a good third of his votes, but he's cleaning up W's 8 year mess.

Just think about what happened since he became president. War in Iraq, done. War in Afghanistan, pretty much done. We got Bin Laden, which was what we were trying to do since 2001. Anyway, the economy's looking better, if it wasn't, we'd all be homeless and not on PH.
Ron Paul’s domestic  policies ideas I agree with but he’s got a wacked out ideas for foreign policies.

Are you kidding me?  I think Clinton and Dems started the domino affect with the “making it easy for American to own home”. Bush was in office for 8 years but Dems were in control of Congress for half of that. Before you get all mad, I do believe that Bush is at fault too. But Obama had done nothing… He’s all talk but no action, no substance. In his reign so far, we’ve the worst housing market, the most debt, unemployment hasn’t improved at all. But he still ask us to give him 4 more years… I’m willing to bet that he’ll blame Bush for all the mess after his second terms (if he’s elected again).

No matter how much we hate war, wars do create jobs. If we were to scale down  our military forces and bring home thousands of military personnel, what’s going to happen to the job market and unemployment?

Me, I’ll rather take a chance on a new guy than listen to another smooth talking for another 4 years with nothing to show.

You still have to consider the Stimulus bill that has failed.  Just look at Solyndra.

totally agree with hung_low.   O0  the housing bubble was the direct result of clinton and dems wanting all of america to own homes.  if the requirements weren't watered down there would have never been a meltdown to begin with.  it's ignorant of people to place blame on bush for that mess.

i think obamacare's failures will lead many dems to vote for a republican this time around.  he's proven to be nothing but a lame duck president.  the only change i see so far is that he will break the string of consecutive presidents serving 2 terms.  hell, even a chicken mcnugget has a better chance right now of getting elected than obamacare.

The GOP has zero chance vs Obama. Let's face it, the number one candidate so far is Mitt Romney with the most votes so far. Ron Paul right behind him. I personally like Ron Paul better and believe he should be president because by listening to the debates, I believe his approach is realistic and in tune with my political views. Nevertheless, with 24M likes for Obama, if we were to be realistic I'd say he's getting another 4 years. Why? Because the GOP is the party who put us in this economic mess, why in the world would we re-elect the party who put us in this mess? They took us to two wars, and there's no telling how many more wars they'd take us to if they win in 2012. Anyway, even with all the Media targeting Obama there are still millions of loyal voters who all know he did more in 4 years than W Bush did in 8. And that's why Obama will take 2012.

I think you have been listening to the liberal media too much.  The REAL reason the economy sunk and sunk very deep was due to Clinton corrupted sub-prime rate deals to help the poor buy homes they cannot afford.  And the Obama Cap and Trade bill and the ObamaFREEcare.  Not to mention the $800 billions stimulus bill that disappeared into thin air.  Like it or not, the RICH control us.  They paid our bills and put foods on our table.  During the entire 8 years of Bush, our unemployment NEVER gone up pass 5%.  It only took Obama 1 year to double it.  Yes Bush took us into two wars and cost 5.7 deficits.  But that was so little comparing to the $4.6 deficits under OBama in just 2 1/2 years.  I can forsee $30 trillions deficits by the end of Obama second term, if he got re-elected.  This black dude just knows how to spend money that doesn't belong to him.

Here are four big issues that I care about.

1.  Illegal immigrants.  If we don't take care of it now, in 20 more years this nation will become the United States of Mexico....full of uneducated people on welfare.  Just think of it, if more than 70% of the people are on welfare, and 85% of all Americans don't pay a single penny in taxes, what do you think will happen to this country?  It will be just another third world country, right?

2. Deficits.   Currently, we can not even pay back our interests on the $16 trillions deficit loans.  For the last two years, we have to keep on borrowing $2.5 trillions a year to pay for all the FREE entitlement programs in the US and pay our interests on the giant loans.  If we don't stop this out of control spending, this country is doomed.  What do you think will happen to you if you bring home only $2000 a month but have bills over $5000 a month???  Can you continue to use your credit card to pay off your bills???  This is exactly what this country is doing right now.  Like it or not, we must cut government programs and balance the budget yearly, and then increase tax for everyone to pay down the deficits.

3.  Jobs.  We can't talk about JOBS if we have too many regulations that are killing jobs in America.  Many businesses cannot afford to stay in business because of all these costly extra expense on new regulations.  How can a small business afford to pay for healthcare for all the employees, both part-time and full-time???  The CAP on energy is killing big manufacture companies.  The greedy union workers are sucking all the profits from big companies.   The answer to our problem should NOT BE " the RICH should PAY more".  The poor don't have a choice, but the RICH do...they can move their companies to different countries.

4.  Stop the Bully!!!!!   The White people MUST stop killing people around the world.  Why do we need military bases around the world to intimidate other nations.  I know White people think they are superior, but those days are over.  We ordered Egypt president, Mubaruk oust or we will kill him (and even after he stepped down, we still make sure he is beheaded next month.)      We ordered Libya president, Gadafi, oust or we will kill him.  When he refused to obey our order, we killed him.   And we killed many more leaders and former leaders in the middle east who disobeyed us.  This country is full of pure evil and it's time to stop.

For this reasons, I support Ron Paul.  I don't know if he can fix the problems, but I know he will NOT make it worse than what we have right now.
