Follow your heart, but keep your head. Or in other words, give all of your heart until that person is also worth givng her your mind. That way, if it doesn't work out, your mind will still be there to help you mvoe on.

in my heart and soul... in my loins and in my gut... i feel he's the one. no one has ever made me feel the way i do when i'm with him. but our beliefs and principals aren't in line. the heart would like to believe that everything will work out but head says there are conflicts that threaten to destroy a lifetime of bliss.

stubbornness can kill a relationship real quick. if i loved somebody and they loved me, i'd compromise a little and hope they do the same in return. if after i did, and they still didn't, then i might leave. don't think for a minute that you can't find someone else who can make you feel the way you do with him. trust me. i've been through it and thought i would never find someone like her again, then i did find someone new and it was even better, and made me realize life goes on. anyway, i hope you two work it out.

definitely. women do this a lot too. they feel the need to help a man reach his potential, or in other words they want to change him. women don't realize he's not going to change! instead, be with someone who you're happy with- flaws and all.

It's not what you argue about but it's how you resolve the situation. How long have you been with your partner if you do not mind me asking?

Sing like no one is listening, dance like no one is watching, work like you do not need the money, love like you have never been hurt and live like there is no tomorrow.

5 years. we've got pending issues but we've also worked through a lot of issues. usually its a compromise.
