I never try to hide myself either. I would eat except for this one time when my date was starring at me.. I felt awkward that's all.

I sure hope she's not too shy. Be yourself and just have fun on the date. Nothing is more boring than a woman or man who just sits there and nods every once in awhile. Even if she wasn't attracted to me, just be herself and have fun on the date. If it's the first and last, atleast her and I can say we had fun.

But if it's not, then eat, because we'll need energy later. Isn't that right Sweet_Tears?

Yes, enough to give you energy. Anyways, back to the topic. When my friends and I went out on double dates.. we would ordered ribs and steaks vs just salad. the guys would say "Wow, we like".

i am generally a shy public eater anyway. so it doesn't matter whether i'm on a date or not i'm conscious of it. lol

I dont like to waste food...
So if I order something that is good, I'm gonna eat my money or his money's worth whether its our first date or at his family's or wherever...
If you dont want to eat so much on a first day, get something you dont really like...
