Lol. At that time, it was our 1st time meeting and we were in our friend stage only, so I must admit I didn't place much effort in my makeup.

We met online, so it was infatuation at 1st comment. He left a comment on my guestbook that made me laughed, and we were friends from that moment on 'til 6 months or so down the road.

At 1st sight, I was like, "wow, he's much, much shorter than any guy I've ever known...he's even shorter than me", but I'm glad I pushed that aside.  

Anyway, are you tired of picking up the bill on the 1st date?

About the bill on the first date, it's more of a conversational piece.  truth is it's an honor for any guy to pick up the bill after having the pleasure of sharing the same table with her.

I always got a different one each time, but I sure was super disappointed when they stopped making the 3 milk boba tea drink. Did you hear that Golden Phoenix and the Chinese store caught fire a few weeks back? It's now closed...I wonder if they're closed for good or just temporarily.

I have no problem paying on the first date or treating people but if the guy doesn't offer it puts a bad impression on him and I would think twice about how genuine he really is.  Ask Mr. Jazzboots, when he came into town with his buddies, we all ate at a pho place and I had no problem paying for all of them!  It was a weird situation b/c my husband who I was dating at that time was there too.

It was a short circuit. Yeah, I love their fresh coconut drink, too.
