I have no problem paying on the first date or treating people but if the guy doesn't offer it puts a bad impression on him and I would think twice about how genuine he really is.  Ask Mr. Jazzboots, when he came into town with his buddies, we all ate at a pho place and I had no problem paying for all of them!  It was a weird situation b/c my husband who I was dating at that time was there too.   

I don't know, that sounds like they were the guest tho which would make it right if the host paid.

I don't know bro, caucasian, asian, european, black, blackanese, chinese, vietamese women are all the same to me.  They don't ever expect to pay or put out on the first date.

girls who insisted on paying are either desperate for a boyfriend or they're just the bossy type.

That's a turn off for me, if she insisted on paying especially on the first date.  It sends a negative message that she's not very normal anymore haha and somethings wrong with her.  All normal girls will stick to the rules and let the guy pay in the beginning, which is what i preferred too.
