Hrmm.

I always thought insecure meant that you worry too much about losing things or lack confidence.

I think what your definition of the word insecure is not entirely accurate. A person acts like "a little pain in the ass about everything you do" because they are afraid that they might lose you. :)

In any case, I agree with mi_mai. The two usually go hand in hand.
