Firefighters pulled a man's body from the Mississippi River in St. Paul on Wednesday, police said.
The Ramsey County Medical Examiner's office identified the man as Neng Yang, 37, of St. Paul.
Someone saw Yang's body in the river in the area of Mill and Washington streets, and called police shortly before 2 p.m., according to an incident report and St. Paul police spokesman Howie Padilla.
The St. Paul Fire Department deployed its air boat on the river and a couple of firefighters, wearing water recovery suits, waded in and recovered the body, said St. Paul Fire Marshal Steve Zaccard
Tad Vezner contributed to this report.
