Hmong girl gets 4 years for killing dude while driving drunk

That's not fair.

White drivers get zero years in prisons for killing while drunk driving.  But when it is a Hmong girl she gets 4 years.

I dont condone drinking and driving but to say that anyone who's had a drink (1 or 2 beers) and gets behind the wheel that they are going to kill someone is just ignorant and plain stupid.  .08 is considered "drunk" by the law and its sheeps.  Thats literally 2 beers.  I doubt anyone knows anybody that gets drunk and makes a life/death decision from 2 beers. 

But in this girl's case, she must have been pretty wasted.  And since her friends knew she was too impaired to make proper decisions they should of never let her drive in the first place.

let's not forget the part where she was drinking while underage and also hurting another pedestrian in that same incident.  she's lucky she didn't kill two people.  on the bright side, at least by the time she is released from prison she won't be carrying around the status of divorcee or single parent.  mid 20's, never been married and no children...wha t a rare sight.

Yeah, she's lucky it's only 4 years. It appears they had trouble proving she was drunk at the time or it might have been more. Oh well, hopefully she learns from this and doesn't make stupid decisions like that again in the future.

Only 4 year? Should have been 30 years. Like some one said it didn't take 4 year to get where the man is at his age.

If she was woman enough to drink and drive, she better be woman enough to take responsibilty.

Just like I tell the boys at the party. "I aint man enough to kill someone out of my own stupidity so I aint man enough to drink with you guys. But I'll just have a can to remember the old times."

This should be a lesson for all you people who always drink including the peer pressure folks too.

I always hear the same stories over and over. OH I'm ok to drive, really I'm ok. In fact you're NOT! 

I'm guilty myself back in my younger years but now I'm more aware of my surrounding and do not drive if I'm drinking.

Yeah, I hate to say it but that's usually the case in MN. They don't get 4 years if it's like their first one but don't know her record or WI.
