Wow, very interesting... I was too busy mourning and crying my eyes out during my father's funeral that I did not listen to the those lines. HH100, thank you very much for sharing that. I hope that our younger generation will still practice those lines to say it in the future when all the old people passed away.

I feel you with all my heart...since I was 6 my father started to teach me Hmong rituals, but being hesistant I careless.  The only thing I know is to "ua tsaug" and some other minor stuff.  When my father passed away, I speak it out of my heart and I cried to almost every single person who contribute.

Only if we can closely paid attention and decipher the words...it goes beyond..beyond Shakespear

This is what you say if they gave "sunshine money" to you, right (as a recorder at the table)?

If they are thanking you for the donation, don't forget to grab their arm and stop them from kneeling.

If you are the xyom cuab, you kneel only once then offer the guest a shot of beer/alcohol or bottle of water (whatever you have at the table).

Pebhmong. This is a website/forum that many Hmong people go to. This is not a site that any good healthy professional person should mingle in. ... I have never seen more bias and racist Admin and MOD.

Better than saying nothing and just waving your hand.  Plus you're giving money so that in itself is already good enough.
