the smallest street bike is the kawasaki ninja 250r

i believe Divine Treasure (here on ph) is about 5' and she can sit flat footed on a road bike...
just that handling the bike is another thing  :)

That depends on you. Take the MSF course then go from there if you're interested. There are many riders that can ride on one foot if needed like a lot of short Hmong riders that want sportbikes. There are also resources on the net that teaches how to ride on one foot.

Actually the cbr250, v-star 250, and tu250x are all smaller than the ninja 250 in terms of weight and dimensions abet not by much as far as new available street bikes go.

OP, the v-star have the lowest seat height out of the available new street bikes...

5'2" is fine.  99.99% of the time you're going to be on two wheels anyways, with that 0.01% at stoplights.  In which case you'll only need one foot off the bike to stay upright anyways.   ;)

BTW, there are plenty of Hmong guys who are 5'2" who ride.   :D  ;D

This is probably the most ill informed message I've seen in a long time  ::). Let's add to it...

Walkers: walking will kill you instantly
Drivers: driving will kill you instantly
Eaters: eating will kill you instantly
Sleepers: sleep will kill you instantly
Drinkers: drinking will kill you instantly
Love makers: sex will kill you instantly
Swimmers: swimming will kill you instantly
Students: learning at schools will kill you instantly
Parents: kids will kill you instantly
Kids: parents will kill you instantly
Hmong New Year Attendees: attending new years will kill you instantly
........

I went through all 15k posts and those 2 quotes I found were the only ones so I guess that would make it "everytime".  Feel free to go through all 15k posts and verify by quoting them all.  You need to quote them all to verifying prove "everytime".   Please verify that Im wrong.

In many situations, a car is safer but in some situations, a moto is safer. I know people that refused to drive because using public transportation like bus, subway, etc., is safer to them and in many ways, it is safer. Also many people feel safer in a big ol gas hog SUV vs. a tiny fuel efficient Civic or Integra despite the high gas prices. No activity in life is 100% safe but one still has to live life.
