I read a lot of Judy Blume books as a kid. I also enjoyed "The Great Brain" series by John Dennis Fitzgerald.

My all time favorite was, Tuck Everlasting.

I read it to my daughters last year as their bedtime story and still cried like crazy.  My kids just looked at me weird...but my older daughter understood.  She cried with me.

Don't watch the movie.  Read the book first if you plan to watch the movie.  The movie does not show the real meaning of the story...well, it does but not in its purest form.

Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are. ~ John Wooden
