DIY Backsplash
« on: November 12, 2012, 03:04:42 PM »
Put some glass mosaic backsplash in the kitchen this weekend.  Turned out great.  Next, buying a wet saw to cut smaller pieces next to the cabinet edge, then grouting tonight.  Anyone do anything simliar?  Post your results!

Looks great!! The backsplash really pops against the dark color of your cabinets.

I could never have that kind of backslash... I looks SOOOO nice and I would still put foil right over so it wouldn't get dirty...

LOVE the glass tiles! very nice color coordination :)

my personal experience is if you are planning on more tiling around your home, then definitely go ahead and buy the wet saw tile cutter. if only here and there then pass.

if not, depending on where you bought your tiles from, you may be able to get them cut for a small fee if any.  i did this through Lowe's....didn't get charged for it because the tile cutter guy didn't price it out so i got lucky lol :)
