You know that you'll always have a friend near
On the phone and face to face we've talked
Under the stars you once held me
And we came close to meeting lip to lip
Reflections of you is what I see
Everyday thinking of you
Special is what you are
Patience, generosity, and warmth is what you have
Emotions that are uncontrollable
Contradicting with my thoughts
Illusions are what I see
All of you....that may be
Loving your every move, every word
Days passing by knowing that you'll be by my side
Only makes me cry
God knows how strong this is
Good thoughts from the past drifting in my mind
Yet there's only one true friend which is you
