Upon shining stars I wish
Wishing to find one who is pure and kind
One who listens, dreams, and wishes as I
A fortunate night I came upon a shooting star
A night which summer could never replace
Releasing my inner self, inner thoughts
Magical words only seen through a portable screen
Voices only heard from afar
Desires dwelling from within
Unleashing my vibes
Drifting with the autumn leaves
Another burst of vitality I found
Strong, wise, and innocent this star will shine
Guiding me through my lonely nights
The only star I look forward to seeing tonight

Never letting me be harmed
Grateful for its presence

I wrote this my senior year in hs to this guy i met online. it was a budding relationship.. ..but back then it was simply puppy luv consisting of emails, msn messenger, and long talks on the phone as well as snail mail. LOL
