I sure hope Smith will start this week, he needs a chance to bounce back after an embarrassing game last week. Julio Jones isn't an easy player to cover, but Smith was someone that we thought was going to give us the boost.

1000+ yds
69 pts
2 games

Understandably it was against 2 potentially good offenses. But the emphasis was the Defense over the off season and it hasn't worked out.

You're right anon, I'm not excited at the moment instead I'm concern.

I agree with you Lex, it's why I support the coach in giving our top pick a shot. I am excited for the Raiders and hope Karl Joseph will bring us what we needed on defense.

Carr needs to make better decision. Jack Del Rio should have gone for it on 4 down.

Defense was again disappointing, but yes, stepped enough to just hang on by the thread. I'll take the win but sericously come on Raiders wake up already. GRRR.

Same as last year.

I think they may have to rethink their offensive play calling. Del Rio keeps telling everyone they're going to run the ball more often but it's all just coach speak at the moment. Last year they attempted a little over 22 attempts a game for a total of 359. This year they're at a little over 25 attempts a game, with a projected total of 405. 3 more attempts a game isn't a change in philosophy. They should've salted away the lead with the running game. They still rely too much on the passing game.

And I hate multiple RBs. Doesn't give a RB enough carries to get into a rhythm.

Best start since 2002. It's just about time.

Still proud of the team but the defense really need to shape up better if we are going to win this division.

Looks more and more like I will have to travel farther to catch my Raiders play live...The Vegas Governor looks very motivated to get the deal done too. I hope my Raiders can find a way stay as Oaktown is their original home but I also can't really blame them for leaving either as the Coliseum is old and falling apart...:

Nevada gov. signs bill to build stadium for Oakland Raiders in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (KGO) --
Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval signed Senate Bill 1 and Assembly Bill 1 into law on Monday at the Richard Tam Alumni Center at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. The move clears another hurdle in possibly moving the Oakland Raider to Las Vegas.

The bill, which required a simple majority vote to pass, was approved in the Assembly on a 35-7 vote and in the Senate on a 21-0 vote.

Senate Bill 1, passed Friday after a week-long special session, calls for an increase in Clark County's hotel room tax to help finance a $1.9 billion, 65,000-seat domed stadium, clearing a path for the relocation of the Raiders to Vegas.

In addition to a $750 million public investment, terms of the stadium deal call for contributions of $650 million from the family of Las Vegas Sands Corp. Chairman Sheldon Adelson and $500 million from the Raiders.

The bill also includes a separate hotel room tax increase to help fund $1.4 billion in improvements to the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Raiders owner Mark Davis has pledged to move the team to Las Vegas, provided three-fourths of NFL team owners (24 of 32) approve, but has said he would wait teo years before doing so.

Mark Davis informed NFL owners that he plans to file for relocation today.

Yeah, Mark has been pretty frustrated with the City of Oakland's leaders thus far...

Best 7 game start since 2001. And we're 4-0 on the road this season thus far.
