Matt Ryan is set to become the first player to make $30 million per season, as sources told Chris Mortensen of ESPN that the Atlanta Falcons have signed the quarterback to a 5-year extension with a record $100 million guaranteed.

Next up is Aaron Rodgers.

Funny how many pro athletes talk about winning the championship being the ultimate goal/priority but most are just in it for the money. I mean if you really want to win a championship, leave some money in the pot so your team can afford to pay other good quality players to help you win one... ;D

In terms of Ryan and Rodgers and others asking for top dollars, getting pay $15 million/year should still be plenty imo but that's just how it is I guess.  ???

It’s always about money.

Aaron Donald and Khalil Mack are still sitting out of team OTAs. Both are seeking records setting deal of $20 mill per year contracts. A first for non QB deal.

Bears and Ravens will kick off the new season on Aug. 2nd HOF game.

Pre-Season week 1 will kick off Aug. 9th.
