Ever since Einstein invented this equation, it only lead to the Atomic bomb.  By now someone should of found a way to make sustainable energy instead.

For E=MC^2 chain reaction to work, you need to reach critical mass.  That critical mass is 8lbs (closely guarded secret for some time.)  Once you reach critical mass...well, good luck with controlling the release of energy that'll disintegrate an entire city.

But that point is moot....becaus e the problem of renewable energy is not energy production.  It is energy storage.  Fossil fuel is energy storage.  Wind, solar, etc are plentiful, but cannot be stored.

E=mc2 is simple.  The equation really meant to say destruction to the human race.  To be honest, energy is all around us.  Once sometime as big and powerful as the A bomb reacts with o2 it creates a chain of explosion in which it uses natural energy to booost the force.

It's extremely complex and expensive.  But I have been following the biggest tokamak project and you can follow it too.  Construction of the reactor started in 2010 and they are targeting the reactor to come online in 2020.  Then it will be scaled up even bigger in the late 21st century. But check it out.

Of course we have wind, wave and solar as energy. But these sources of power will never be enough to provide for this world's growing demands. At this point we don't know how to find cost efficient sustainable energy for the country or world. And if we do, it is going to be EXPENSIVE!

Think about the cost of renewable energy. Solar power, hydroelectric power, wind power are all very expensive. To compare the price on a yearly note, I would rather just make Atomic bombs.

You can substitute energy source to coal, oil and natural gas - but these are highly polluting and also very expensive energy source that does no good to this world.

Wind, Wave, and Solar Energy also have their downside as well...  it's debatable.

We still need fossil fuels today and into the future until we find other alternatives.. .  people are going to demand that energy.

i probably won't be around to see it, and I wish i could, but I'd love to see the first commercial Tokamak fusion reactor come online...

The thing is that the world isn't ready for such energy source yet. Let's say if today we find a renewable, cost efficient power source, the world wouldn't use it just yet. All the cars in the world would have to be converted to be usable. All the power plants had to be converted.

Yes, it's been done.  But the energy to keep it from melting the whole thing costs more than the energy we get from it.  So, it is a losing game.

Free energy aka sustainable energy has no business model so why would people find free energy to give it for free?

Here's a business case about FREE.  Sunmicrosystem is revered by many in the computer industry for having developed and matured the JAVA language.  Where is sunmicrosystem now?  this darling was sold to Oracle.  Why?  Free doesn't work in a for-profit business environment.
good point.  By using the equation to create energy, we would have too much energy in that we cant use it all, which becomes worthless.  Energy would be for free.

that was what einstien thought was the case at first before the discovery of the neutron.  Before then, scientists would use an electron, which negatively binds with the protons of the atom.  Hence, to cause fission you need more energy put in to only get a little energy put out.  Later physicists discovered the neutron, which doesnt bind the protons of the atom, but instead will dispell for every one neutron another two neutrons from the nucleus.  1 gives 2, 2 gives 4, 4 gives 8....etc and achieves nuclear fission.

Because we don't understand enough of matter. For example, a single photon from the sun, traveling at the speed of light you would think that to be able to travel that fast, it must have an incredible amount of energy to accelerate such particle to such speeds, but we don't even know how or why it can be so fast. Even a few photons at the speed of light, only requires a few microamps but where's the energy behind the acceleration speed. Even scientist/engineers are clueless on how to make monopole magnets. If mankind can solve the monopole magnet problem, humanity won't care for renewable energy but infinite energy.
