Not knives but they would cut off almost anything that gets in it's way
GUARANTEE or your money back....Full Tangs..

I really like the blue one the most, it has a good heff. behind the hilt and a good balanced  blade. I think I paid $296-300 I don't remember where I got it from. It was from a martial store. They also had ones with the real eel skin wrap on the handle. for like 400-500.. The prize one that I want to get is the one that was forge with copper and steal or iron, sumting like tat. It's folded multi times of layers to give it a well made balance and strength. Which goes for 1000, Too much for me.

I bought this used from a knife forum member. I paid 195 for it. I think it was worth it because usually these knife with the exotic wood handles range anywhere from 250-300.
Wow, they go for that much.
Besides the wooden handle, Where were the blade forge at/from?

Yes, those are crazy prices for a small knife. The blur ironwoods handles are the most expensive. Them steels CPM 3V are from here in the states. The company that makes these knives are up in escanaba michigan(UP).

^^^ depending on how they were made... The folded 10-20-30 folds or sumting like that. are not cheap...well I don't need to explain the works... You guy might know better then me.
I don't know if that store is even still around. Had those blades for more then 10+ years. I have all them oil and powder to shine the blades from rust.
About 4-6 months I pull it down and wipe and clean them.

Some can go as high as 1000.00-5000.00,
Just as much as my 2nd wife.. hehee, BTW she's lock up in her case.. LOLz..

That's how the Hattori Hanso swords are made.

Very durable. The Japanese and Koreans know what to do with metals.

Here are mines...

Lon Humphrey Deathwinds
If I had to carry one knife while hunting, this is the one. 8" blade on 5160 high carbon steel. I've hacked on bones with no problem. Comes with a micro edge which I then slightly regrind, keeping it's large convex. Very good for heavy duty hacking. Doesn't stay as sharp but I have other knives for that purpose.

Bark River Loveless Hunter

This little guy helped skinned many game animals. Very nice for skinning and breaking down an animal. Made out of A2 for easy sharpening. If no edge damage, I usually just strop it on the leather and it's ready to be used again....

Bark River Trail Buddy I and III

Great combination but the Trail Buddy III was just a little to big to be a carried knife so I re-grinded the knife to resemble a Hmong knife. Both are A2 steel. Great for general use but the edge will easily roll if I hack on bones the way we do it at home. Good overall general use. Nothing compared to the heavy work that can be done using the Deathwind.

I have a few more but I'll get to them later. I too love Bark River knives. My next one will be the Gunny Hunter in 3V.
