The Year of the Flood
by Margaret Atwood

I finished this book on New Year's Eve!  Another good story but not as thrilling or action pact.  It's mostly all back story to the characters but written amazingly.

For some reason, I'm still so hooked on Jimmy character so maybe that made it a little harder to enjoy this book.

This story talks about the people before and leading to the flood.

Currently at 70% on the 3rd book of this trilogy. Liking this one much better and can't wait to see what happens to all the survivors of the pandemic and to learn the truth as to where this virus started: who initially thought of it, made it, and when it was massed produced, etc.  Although it was worded, it was never specifically stated but sounds like it will come out, otherwise I'm going to assume it's Crake.  Totally crazy stuff.

I tried to have husband read The Night Angel trilogy.  He tried to but it just wasn't working out for him.  I guess fantasy is not his genre.  ;D

He's now starting Oryx and Crake.  It's probably more up his alley.  I think he'll read this one easier.
