no interior door to the basement
« on: February 07, 2014, 09:16:13 PM »
I'm looking at a house.  It's interesting.  It was built in the late 50s.  It has no interior door to the basement.  The only way to the basement is through the outside horizontal door.   I like the house but I'm bothered by this arrangement.  What's wrong with this design?

This is one of those designs where it would creepy to any Hmongs who are looking for their first house.
Actually, to find a good home or how the wise people would put it.  You have to find a home that is in a good environment, safe from flooding, higher ground is better, the house should not touch the blowing winds from the four corners, house or land cannot have any bad history and others.  Well wouldn't be creepy if the electric goes out and the only was to get it fixed was by going to the outside door.  Imagine on a stormy night, where the winds blow loudly and the branches shakes as if the branches were reaching out to grab you.  :o

What is wrong with the house--> everything
