..noticed that alot or even all of the laptops do not have the cd/dvd disc drive anymore. What's going on with that?

Really?  I haven't looked at laptops for a while so I wouldn't know.  Well, everything is moving towards the clouds these days and if your computer crashes you can boot up from a usb drive now.  Just goes to show that the market is moving in favor of the internet.
