Try one of these. Very portable and reusable. You can buy them at Mills or one of the sporting goods stores.

hehe, i was trying to slipt a branch in half. So i can put my rod on. But ops the blade was too sharp and slipt my hand. I went to Urgent care and got a tetanus shot. And yes the fishes are bitting. Well not as much as it once did. But it's there. You do more waitting then catching thou.

It yank so hard down that I could not pull it out soon enough and lost the fish... It also bent the holder...  >:( Now I made my own by using golf stick. Got a good number and gave some away. I want now is a casting reel holder. Going to make one for it.  O0

I went and bought 2 of these from Walmart.  You can collapse it down and it'll fit inside of the back of the Trout jacket. Now I don't need to go looking for any more sticks. When I'm out Trout fishing. I just gotta remember to bring it home when I'm done fishing.

Cool.

Be sure to wipe them dry after each use so they don't rust, too.
