Anyone have camped/fish the Root river in MN for trout?

if so, please share some of your experiences/ places to fish and camp along the Root. Looking at doing a weekend get away but don't want to do the typical white bass trips to ND or Iowa. Also don't want to be shoulder to shoulder with 500 other people.

I like your idea. If I go to a resort, it has to be lm bass or pikes or eyes, not white bass.
