Yet you held me so tight
At times I felt suffocated
My soul, isolated
My spirit chained in prison
Soon, I began to lose my vision
I became submissive to your desires
All the while, my soul was burning in fire
You put your marks on my body
My body left bloody
The pain inked through my veins
I became numb to the point where I can't feel pain
Begging for God to take my life
I began to cut myself with a knife
The scars embedded in my wrists
What have I missed?
I've been living with a monster
You're only an imposter
