I've always had a fascination with paper planes. As a kid, I would make various designs. Take measurements of their dimensions and their performance. Which design had more flight time? Which gave more distance? Etc. It was my way of playing designer/engineer. To this day, I look up airplane designs. Paper and real.
The other day, a little kid asked me to fold an airplane for him. I folded him the paper airplane that holds the world record for distance. I am sure he didn't know it. He was just happy to have a plane. Maybe he'll get inspired in the future.
Here is a video on how to fold that airplane.
