this was from a very close and dear friend who after many years moved back home.

Lisa,
Sup girl. Nothing here, just sitting in study hall. Thanks for writing to me, and all those other times too. You really occupy my time. That's good.
Well, you're welcome for the dinner, although it wasn't much. Besides, it was a commitment sorta' thing. Like I said, the bet was an excuse to take you out. I've been wanting to--since the moment I knew I was coming home. It is just such a busy world out there that sometimes, we never get around to do the things we plan to do. I just hope you enjoyed it.
Congratulation s on your job. I'm sure you'd do a nice job--like you always do. You're saying that I've been a great pal, wow Lisa. You just don't know how you've been to me. Or WHO you've been to me. You were always such an angel to me--and all those times, I've have even taken you for granted. Haven't I? Well, just want you to know...A friend like you is NEVER easy to find. And I'll remember that I'm fortunate enough. Thanks for seeing me the way you do. I appreciate it!
Always,
DX
