I watched the whole series. It's pretty neat.  They were able to beat a 500 hp f type.

and they are right... mighty car mods... they don't really know how to make cars go fast.

Skill > HP and Course dependent. You can only use so much HP.

A Jaguar F-Type is an impressive car but it is made for he enjoyment of the owner which means being comfortable for hundreds of miles, to have air conditioning, and to make the cabin as quite as possible. That S2000 is made to attack road courses and to beat track records. I see what these guys are trying to do and it is impressive but it's like comparing apples and oranges.

Now if some souped up the F-Type and the S2000 still beat it - that's impressive!
