Anyone tried Office 2016?
« on: September 30, 2015, 10:00:47 PM »
Was thinking of torrenting it.  I have 2013.

I like new stuff.  But if it's not much different and not much need, I'm probably not going to get it.

Going to 2013-2016 is going to feel foreign to you but when you figure it out you'll wonder what took them so long to update the UI.

Download Office 2016 here.

That looks fishy. I wouldn't do it.. unless it's a site I trust.

...
I have a copy of it but it's yet to be installed mainly because I'm too lazy.. lol

I have the current cc.  I also have 2011 cc. Very similar.  I prefer the current one.

If you just need a word processor, spreadsheet, etc., then go old version or just freeware.  But as a business suite, it's quite nice.  Co-editing.  Cloud.  Better integration among devices.  Heck, you can even use Skype within the apps.  The features (in theory) look useful for business folks.

I'm sticking to open office even though it's much slower. At least, it's free to the general public and you can accomplish the same task you would with MS office.
