Auto Superstitions....

Do any of you guys/gals have odd superstitians when it comes to your cars?

I have a few which I've told some of my closest friends and my spouse...

1.  I never ever get gas at Pump 13, something bad will happen to your car during that tank of gas

2.  On a hill, I always pull the e-brake before i shift it into park.

3.  I turn off the A/C before I shut off the car

"Don't have sex in your car."

Several of my cousins' cars fell apart after they did it. lol

I plead the 5th on my own vehicle but it sure works great with your nemesis's car and girl.

that's why you trade or sell it after you're done before it happens to you.

Hahaha my dad tells my brother this all the time. If one of my brother's car is coughing up or acting sick, my dad raises an eyebrow and smirks at my brothers

Heard the color red for cars is bad luck....

I was looking up laws in MN about red cars, and WOW, they have very awkward laws for red cars.

Like this one: Red cars can not drive down Lake Street (Minneapolis, Minnesota)

I am sure the law is no longer valid but still. I found that weird.

I try not to drive my car through water. I heard it might die. 

I try not to rev my car pass its redline. I heard it might die. 

I try not to drive the car without tires. I heard I might die. 

I try not to pray with my eyes close while driving. I heard others might die. 

I try not to jump my car off of bridges. I heard fish might die.

I also don't do the following:

Turn the wheel when parked or not in motion.

Park with the wheels turned, unless I'm on a hill.

Come to a complete stop before i shift it from R to D.
