Will America return to Slavery?
« on: May 05, 2016, 12:41:38 AM »
Yes, only on robots. I wonder if that slavery constitution applies to robots as well. This is debatable, but I am quite sure that we abolished slavery already; yet, the chance of bringing it back to America will be unconstitution al--only for robots vs. man.

What's your opinion if you were replaced by a robot to do a job? How will you feel if you are replace by a machine?

I wonder what will happen if there are riots who will be screaming at a robot company for making them losing their own jobs. What is this, Metropolis in some anime?

Many jobs have already been replaced by "machine". I can deal with it as I understand that change is constant. If we ever get to the point where robots and machines become so reliable and efficient then we, humans may not need to work anymore except for the robot and machine making people of course...

Simple I would turn Maverick and rebel. >:D It happens in Astro Boy and Mega Man, it could very well happen in real life too if robots were to be created and take our jobs. In the words of the South Park folks, "They took our jobs!" Then again what's the point of living in poverty when robots could pretty much does everything for you (cook, drive, clean, pay the bill, babysit, communicate, massage, x-ray, pilot, serve, act, therapy, nursing, entertain, guard your house, fix your needs, build a house for you, etc.)?

I wouldn't feel indifferent about the situation. Go back to college and perfect yourself to adapt to a different non-socialist society. With the change you stated, the robot industry will be swarming with individuals who know the trade. The need to improve engineering technology is vast and again people will be needed. True artificial intelligence or human likeness is still obsolete for a robot to posses. A robot cannot concur with another robot and have thoughts, not possible.

The word robot, comes from the word robota, or servitude, from an early 20th Century Czech Science Fiction play. The brother of the playwright originally coined the word robota. So there's not much room for arguments there. Robots are slaves in name already.

In that case, we've been committing Robot slavery since the 1950's. It's only now that Robots have advanced exponentially enough that the tasks they accomplished have become much more complex. Instead of looking at this as being replaced by Robots, look at this as learning new skills. Humans still have the edge in terms of processing power. And we build them. Well, until we build Robots who in turn build other Robots. But the point was we already do have Robot Slaves. The argument can be about who is the slave to whom?

Slavery never left the shores of America. It's under a different name now and what makes it worse is that all these slaves are by consent. It is called "welfare".

If blacks are FREE then why do they insist on the government to:

- give them housing
- give them food
- give them an education
- give them jobs
- give them healthcare
- and so on.

FREE people feed themselves. Blacks have become more dependent on the government than when they were owned by slave masters. This time it's worse because blacks want the government to do these things for them, whereas at least the slaves wanted none of it from their masters.

Those sneaky Democrats are really clever. They figured out a way to keep blacks under their thumbs "legally" and with black people's consent. Notice how the Democratic party is quick to elect and assign black people into their party to oversee these programs? This is just another way to keep the black gatekeepers working for them. Black gatekeepers will always do whatever they have to do to keep their jobs. They need blacks to stay poor or lose their job. And house slaves prefer to be in the house than out in the field.

This is why we Hmong can never become like blacks and Latinos. We should NEVER EVER count on the government. We are a people that have always been FREE FROM government.

Stay AWAY FROM SOCIAL-TYPE WORK and industries. GO STRICTLY FOR PRIVATE.

hmmm... interesting but the law only refers to human. If we are to include every living thing and non-living thing, we're already slave owner. We used animals as our slaves.
A robot is just a more complex machine than other machines that we're using today. eg a pick and place robot just pick a product from a different area and place it in another area but there are other robots that can pick specific product and even packaged them. The first one just has relays, switches and motor whereas the second one has a processor (a brain) that can make decision base on programs and inputs.

I have to agree with you on this... the Democrats and Liberals are the modern day slave owners... their noose is the welfare check. Slaves are those that are on welfare. Welfare is designed to trap people and keep them there. That's why when successful black people speak out against it, they are labeled uncle Tom by blacks and ridiculed by Liberals/Democrats.

TAL,

Many progressive movements follow a "slave" ideology but they are much more clever about it nowadays. For example, third-party surrogacy is just another form of slavery and animal husbandry. These embryos aren't created with dignity or under natural conditions. There's a huge market for them where "money" is involved. The technology was initially designed with good intentions in but have turned into a big moneymaker. This is one reason why I'm against same-sex marriage (not because I don't want gays to pair up) but because I know it will prompt them to this next step, which I find reprehensible among heterosexuals. In fact, many gay couples have already been purchasing "designer babies" and trying to pass it off as "normal".

Again, progressives have a way of cleverly packaging their teachings so that the collective mass will find it harmless and acceptable. They're also experts in framing truth and good as an evil.

People of Color are always the casualties. It's their culture, their dignity, and their children that gets sacrificed in the so-called "progressive" movements.
