Depends on what crowds
Milwaukee: see Hmong - go to Phonsavan Market on Mill Road and 76th.  It's an Hmong market but they got great food.  If you want to see black ghetto, drive East on 76th st and Center Street toward Lake Michigan , On the southside, drive on Cesar E Chavez Drive if you want to see the mexican ghetto.  Drive down to Bradford beach, Veterans Park- rent bikes and fly kites, visit Milwaukee Art Museum, Stop by the Potawatomi Casino, Top burgers joint in Milwaukee: AJ bomber or Sobelmans, Mall: Mayfair Mall

Chicago: Places to eat and visit- Royal Buffet- http://www.royalbuffetil.com/ , Ginza Buffet-ginzabuffet.com , Vietnamese town, china town, Gurnee Mill Mall if driving down from Milwaukee, Six Flag Great America, H Mart for Korean food, Michigan Ave Strip, Navy Pier, North Ave beach,

What are some of the top places to see and eat in South Cal?

Thank you very much! This is very helpful since I don't really know anybody in those two cities who can show me around. Am going to avoid the ghetto as much as possible.

As for South cal:

LA/OC -  Santa Monica pier, Santa Monica 3rd street promenade, Venice beach/boardwalk, Redondo Beach Fisherman's Wharf, Staples center depending on events. Hollywood walk of fame or walk of dump, however you want to call it. Tons and tons of Vietnamese/Chinese/korean/japanese you name it restaurant. Irvine Spectrum.

San Diego - Coronado beach, Sunset Cliffs, Gaslamp, Tacos El Gordo for Mexican street tacos or drive south 20 mins to the Mexican border for authentic tacos. Phil's BBQ.

I'm sure others on here can add onto the list.

Yep, I think that pretty much sums it up when it comes to these types of inquiries...
