List of Compassionate Things A Liberal Can Do W/O Government

So here it is, folks! You can finally exercise your compassion. If every single Liberal did one thing from this list, we wouldn't have to legislate compassion by creating a bigger government. I had some really good ones in another post. You can check them out there as well.

- at least once every month, pay for your poor person's grocery. On average you will probably $100-200. Not bad.

- select a poor person who needs glasses and pay for their glasses. Some of these places have excellent deals for uninsured people. They can get a free exam and buy one pair at $69 while getting a second for free. You are only spending $69.

- fork up 10-20% down payment for a car for a poor person. Cap amount of car price is $10k. That is only $2,000 out of your pocket.

- buy half a year's worth of bus fare for your poor person. Monthly bus pass has definitely gone up since the days when I rode public transportation in high school. But I think on average it is $60 for a monthly bus pass nowadays. So you are only spending $60/month.

- pay a whole year's worth of prescription for your poor person.

- take 2 kids shopping for new clothes for the new school year ($100-250)

- every time you buy toilet paper, pick up an extra pack and give to your poor person/family

- pay the driver's ed fee for a poor teen (avg cost: $300)

- pay for college application fee for poor graduating teen

- $50/month for gas
