This former RC is in Dearborn. Marriott took over and renamed it about 10 years ago:

Not often we stay in a hotel room with 2 restrooms since there's only two adults and a kid but this one has 2 restrooms just because of RC's standards:

Looks nice! I like the extra security with card to operate elevator. Even better if they have security guards to check id.

The vintage classic look is what many Ritz-Carlton is known for so it's part of their long standing character and that's what draws many of their guests.

As far as the breakfast goes, not the best I've ever had but for hotel quality, it's one of the best. Looks and actually tasting it can be two different things so don't judge a book by its' cover especially when it comes to subjective things like taste. Kind of like when this White guy I know thought papaya salad looks gross but then once he actually taste it, he enjoyed it.:
