I was wondering about NYE and was going to discuss it with you.  Are you in the office today?

hun, I'm finally done decorating ;-)

Nice!  I almost didn't want to deco this year.  I donated my tree 2 yr ago and didn't have one last year.  It was too big and always in my living room.   This year I got a pencil tree from Michaels and it work for the corner near the fireplace.  Doesn't take up too much space and perfect for the family room for the 1st time.

Old xmas tree in living room.  Had this tree for 5-7 yrs.

Pencil tree from Michaels.

Leaves still in colors......

Grass is all green again........

Lights on the roof.

Lights and bows all around the stairs up the other direction too.

My front door.  I donated my all my wreaths so just did whatever I can with leftover stuffs.

I'm not done with deco in my kitchen area yet.  Funeral start tomorrow so I've been busy just getting everything ready for it.  I will post my joss paper design later.

Nice trees.  Thanks for sharing, SummerBerry.  It definitely is looking more green there.

The few days of nature rain that we had earlier helped a lot.

I woke up this morning seeing much brighter colors of leaves.  We got home almost midnight last night after the funeral.  My husband called in, the younger kids stay home and only oldest daughter went to school.  I told her to stay home but she want to go to school.

Rain does make a difference.  Looks like some of the leaves are changing colors as well, unless they're naturally those colors and I'm mistaken.
