Because...

I saw a plateau...

And then next thing I knew, I was driving on top of a plateau...


I should've stopped at one of the viewing places and looked. 

But it really was a cool experience.

it's a year later from your post, but my baby bro is actually stationed in New Mexico now. He's sent a few pics of where he's gone and looks so peaceful, just like the magazines haha
