That's the theory but after working in corporate finance for 17 years it's never decreased. Each year the underwriters come back with new contracts. It's either increased or stayed flat with benefit reductions or worst...someti mes both.

People want to make it sound like healthcare is comprable to selling goods and simple services however given the complications of regulation by state, health of the population, rising cost, etc...it's not as simple.

Duh. So why do you keep wanting MORE regulations? In fact, why do you want the government to oversee healthcare? It's only going to be more regulations after regulations.

Maybe we should throw away all the stop signs, red lights, and speed limit.  Regulation sucks.  We rather die than be regulated.

Now it all makes sense. Some of you are really, really, really worried about having insurance.

When you are filled with bulls.hit 24/7 that stuff tends to become cancerous.
