Has anyone made a dish with wingbeans before?  What did you do with the wingbeans?

I often see them in the Asian  markets but glance away because it is so alienish to me. Do they taste like green beans?

I don't know either.  I wonder how they taste like.

These are pictures of them cooked.  I guess you can cook them like regular green beans.

Well, I failed because wingbeans are out of season :( for sure when they are in season, I will present you with a picture of a dish using wingbeans :)

Interestingly enough, I made Hmong Chicken Gumbo with okra and it turned out delicious! I don't think it has been before before but I can be wrong. Just like eggplants, it made the soup thicker.



Okra is best this way. Egg wash, flour, again in egg wash, then bread crumbs...

Sounds great!  I'm going to buy them the next time I see them too.  I'll cook them and see if I like 'em.   :)

Wow, looks great.  Can you get one of the first ladies or former first ladies, preferably Michelle Obama or Melania Trump, to serve this at one of their fancy dinners?  Like kale, I don't consume something unless it has been blessed or promoted by people in the white house.
