Cat and the Japanese lady
« on: February 09, 2017, 05:38:37 PM »
At a store, I was in line next to an older Japanese lady. As we talked more and more about Asians, she began sharing her personal story with me; she told me that her cat had starved itself for seven days while she was at the hospital. Then the minute she got back home, her cat started eating again.

Their story: The loner Japanese lady had been walking around the neighborhood for some times and came up on a cat. The cat started walking pass her back and forth--it just went ahead of her and then away and then back. Suddenly, the lady said, "Would you like to come live with me?" (She was speaking human English.) The cat jumped right onto her arms and started purring softly in her chest. She took it home.

Things like this are real, huh?

It's possible but that doesn't mean the cat understood what she said.  She probably bent forward toward the cat and the cat saw that as signal for a hug.  The cat probably picked this up from her previous owner.
