Maybe. If I were still single and younger, perhaps.

Of course. It's personal preference for me. I can't recover from the late nights and social drinking like I used to.

not like that.  social life doesn't have to be drinking and staying up til 3am.

social life to me is a lot like high school days.  you and your friends hang out at the park, watch movies on a big screen, and ride bike around town.

:-[ Yeah, we do that too  ;D

J/K.

Kinda. My personal friends and I have lost touch with one another over time. My friends now, were friends of my wife first, and let's just say alcohol is Life for some  :-X I've found myself making excuses to skip some of those social outings.

With that in mind, I'm looking forward to weekend getaways as the weather improves.

I went through all 15k posts and those 2 quotes I found were the only ones so I guess that would make it "everytime".  Feel free to go through all 15k posts and verify by quoting them all.  You need to quote them all to verifying prove "everytime".   Please verify that Im wrong.

Fuk no! When you're under the control of the clock 8 - 5pm, 5 days a week. There's no way to balance work & social life. You have nothing at the end of the day. I mean how many of you folks still have the energy to go out and do things after work hrs? After 10+ years of working my arse off trying to be a productive and responsible member of society, I have nothing to show for but a lot lonelier by the years. I hate myself and I hate society that I can't control my own destiny but stuck in this ever cycle of work & nothingness. Point is, I think we work too much in this country that we forget ourselves and our needs. Fuk wotrk. Got damn it, I need to be laid off, PERIOD! At least unemployment covers some bills and being able to have bless getting to know the world for that 6 month duration. Then can get back to prostituting/gigoloing again(don't we all had to go thru head hunters for job?)...lol

As long as you n your buddy or buddies have the same days off then there goes your relax time.

Jacked up is when 1 get weekend off n u get week days off.

I don't mind wking on sat morning for ot if my friends are still sleeping that time or all of us are wking at the same time.  I'll wk n miss out on social life but Mark my word, never more or i will not last long with such fawked up job.

The only exception is if i make tons of money n with that, i will pad up the dough n quit in a few years.

I used to wk 8pm on the weekend too so i go kick it with my buddies but at 730, im out.  Talking about stress n talking about friends who tries to plan the party early just so i can eat with them b4 wk.    I did that for 4.5 years.

Now im good.  No weekend but when things are going good with me, my friend jumped to swing so no Friday night for us n if he do ot sat swing, my weekend will be a bust as well.  Weird how roles are reversed. I quiy to get his schedule n he quit to get another schedule.  When we both do not wk weekend, it is when we take trips.  Like fly to vegas on sat morn, party sat night n fly hm sunday.  Its only less than an hr flight n its dirt cheap too.  Vegas every month is the goal.  This sat is edc fresno.  Expecting hmongs will be there since it is in their backyard.  Tix only 20 bux plus fees.  Go go go more hmong for me.
