Yang, 28, is suspected of stabbing an 18-year-old in the area of Hewitt and Park avenues, according to a press release issued Thursday by the Oroville Police Department.

Oroville police officers responded to the area about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday and found the 18-year-old suffering from multiple stab wounds, according to the release. The teenager, whose name was not released, was taken to a hospital and is expected to live.

An investigation at the scene led officers to believe Yang was the suspect, and he was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, according to the release.

Anyone who has information regarding the incident is asked to call Oroville police at 538-2448.
