Any tips to eating more?
« on: May 02, 2017, 08:04:06 PM »
My fitness goal is to gain more muscles and weight. I know I need to eat more but being me and with a busy schedule,
sometimes it's just not doable. How can I eat about 2000 calories a day without feeling like I've ate a whole horse? Reccomendation s on calorie dense food and recipes ? Tips and ideas please.

Some of the foods would be oatmeal, eggs, fish, skinless chicken and whole grains. Eat more meals and exercise.

I was having oatmeal several months ago and it may me go #2 everyday 2-3 times.  :-\

I really need to consume more because when I exercise I lose weight pretty easily. So not taking in enough just makes me even more skinnier and I want the opposite of that. Idk how people can eat so much.

Nuts, legumes, & good fats. Small servings that's easy to eat and calorie dense.

1. Unsalted almonds.
2. Virgin coconut oil. I eat it plain, usually 4 tablespoons daily. 120 calories per tablespoon.

Eat high protein food to gain more muscle and high calorie food to gain weight.

I went through all 15k posts and those 2 quotes I found were the only ones so I guess that would make it "everytime".  Feel free to go through all 15k posts and verify by quoting them all.  You need to quote them all to verifying prove "everytime".   Please verify that Im wrong.

If your budget isn't an issue. Try a "mass gainer". Meets your needs for quick, small serving. Preferably a mass gainer from a reputable company. Or make your own, cheaper and no fillers.

A mass gainer I make from time to time as a post workout shake.
2 scoops ON 100% Gold Whey
1 scoop dextrose
12 oz microfiltered milk
600 calories, 67 grams of protein

Hope this helps.

What works for me might not work for you but I've been eating every 2 hours. I would eat small snacks like salted almond nuts, beef jerky, salad. My biggest meal is lunch and dinner. I don't really care about counting calories because my body have a very high metabolism. Also eating before bed is recommended, not too much but enough to fill your hunger.

Heard those mass gainers are full of crap. I'll be making my own. It's hard just to finish it all.
