How come when I update my avatar it says "Your profile has been updated successfully" in green, but then it automatically switches my profile to "No Avatar?"

Make sure your image is small as a icon. As small as 128 pixel long and 128 pixel wide . Its format should be jpeg. and png. Avoid tiff and gif because this site don't support these two.
