Love and Obsession in Kdrama
« on: September 20, 2017, 09:09:47 AM »
One can learn a lot from watching Korean Drama.  When it comes to love drama, the evil guy or girl, is usually obsess w/ the pab ej, nas ej,  and do all they can to get him/her in the name of "love."  When things don't go their way, they use the "blaming" card.. and don't accept accountability for their wrong doings, never see the point of views of others (whether they feel the same way or not)  except their selfish greed.

Love is the opposite of that.

I watched a few series that were recommended to me by female co-workers, and it's not very good overall IMO:

- Takes forever for one to tell the other he/she like him/her
- Takes forever to even hold hands
- Takes forever to even kiss
- Some of the guys cried more than the girls

They're similar to Soap Opera like Days of Our lives, General Hospital, etc.. so you need patience and a little time.

Watching fantasy drama may have a negative effect on your relationship.  People even say that such story is even real or inspired on a true story.  I call bull.   All it does is makes a person to seek out such fantasy in their world and when non or not enough sarotonin for their craving, here comes the depression.

So you think watching those drama is beneficial in any way?

Waste of time
Makes you fat
And your husband is not romantic enough and no, Korean men don't go for short Hmong.

Not from what I've seen, it's faster with American soap in terms of kissing, love scene, etc., and the dudes cry less...I'm not a big fan of American soap either which is why a female coworker recommended Korean soap for me to try.

In some Korean soap, the characters lost touch even in the age of technology i.e. Cell phone, email, etc., then found each other years later...makes no sense at all in this day and age... ;D

Many PHers can associate with the evil guy, I'm sure of it.  ;D
