Divorce question?
« on: October 09, 2017, 04:27:41 PM »
How easy or hard is it to go through an uncontested divorce?
Both don't have assets/children to split, just want to go separate ways asap.

The process is smooth for uncontested divorce.  It can be finalized in 6/7 months.  My oldest bil and ex-sil did it.  My ex-sil already moved out of state right after they divorce the Hmong way.  It was actually her that made all the decision to make the divorce uncontested because she know she was at fault or the cause of their marriage.  She took the 2 younger kids while my bil got the rest of them.  It cost my bil about $200-300 just to filed.

if your heart is content on separation, everything is easy...the only hard part is the inconvenience there of (providing proof of legal separation, if you have a marriage license)...otherwise, save your money, for the next ho...um, woman.

tell her, "you go you, i go i"...and just as she leaves, you unpack:D ;D

understandably we don't want to give up on what we've sowed, built up and/or established but we should also understand not to make things harder than it is.  When it comes to materialistic things, yes, maybe we'll fight for it cause it may hold value...howeve r, when dealing with people, it should be easy because they've already helped made the decision (to leave) for you.

one should always look at divorce as a second chance at life...do what you've always wanted to do like finding the perfect gf/wife (*cough*...laos).  :D ;D

An OG said, "I don't understand Hmong men at all. They have two eyes when they choose their wives. But later they still say they didn't do it right and they'd like to look again at another one."

a wise man also said, 'a man's worst fear is that their wife will never leave them, no chance at 2nd love...'  so he canceled his flight to laos.   :2funny: :idiot2:

That one made a mistake...beca use there's no Hmong wife from Laos who would stay with her husband here. lol

Actually I'm divorcing to be single again,  not to be with somebody else. I like being single and free on my own.

All married people want to do what you are doing. Some just can't get off now because they have children child support , etc.
