Will be up for sale at the end of their run this year and P. Diddy and Colin Kaepernick wants to buy it. What do you think, gonna happen?

I have been to 2 Panthers game and I have to say that Carolina has one of the worst fan base. On both of those occasion I notice that the fans starts leaving the game in the middle of the 4th qt. Regardless of winning or losing, people just leave and its so depressing to see. The game is not over! Also, its so hard to watch a home game when 1/4 of the fans in the stands are wearing the opposing colors :P I have been watching the Panthers play and a fan of football for a long time but from a business stand point I understand where all this is going. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if they get bought out and relocate. The people and the city surrounding this football team doesn't deserve what Mr. Richardson has try to give provide for them.  And if puff daddy buys the team, I'm out. I will burn my jersey and never look back ;D

Carolina was never my team until I moved here over 20 years ago. Growing up in Cali I always watched the Niners. Joe Montana and Jerry Rice was always my team. If Carolina does anymore stupid move, I'm done with them forever.

I moved to Charlotte about 20 years ago as well. I believe 1994 was their opening year. I remembered coworkers talking about it. A few years after that I think the Hornets relocated to NO?

The Panthers are a good team. The support and fan base just isn't there.  This part of the country is in big favor of college over pros.

I don't quite understand the idea of leaving when you pay so much to get in.
I don't understand why you would leave if your team is winning.

Bandwagoning fans. Those fans were hardcore to Redskins and Falcons before 1994.

I just don't like Newton... he's such a showboat. He's all happy and dress like a idiot when he win but act like a spoil brat when he loses. NO CLASS!!!

I agree, he’s very immature and I don’t see Carolina returning to the super bowl this year or anytime soon with him as a QB and Rivera as a coach.

I believe there are 12 potential buyers now.

NFL believes that Carolina is still a great market so it will make sure that the team remain there. New owner will have to accept that.

Sold to David Tepper for $2.275B. There's speculation that he may move the team to SC.
